ESG Vietnam Forum 2026 was officially launched on Tuesday under the theme “Seizing opportunities, leading growth”, as organisers called on businesses and policymakers to turn sustainability commitments into concrete action.
The launch was announced at the closing session of the ESG Vietnam Forum 2025 by Pham Tuan Anh, editor-in-chief of Dantri Newspaper and head of the organising board, who thanked leaders, experts and businesses for their support and engagement.

According to the organisers, the forum, now in its second year, has become a platform for sharing practical knowledge and experience on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues, helping enterprises better understand and implement sustainability strategies.
Pham Tuan Anh highlighted opening remarks by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha, who emphasised the role of science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, referencing Resolution 57 as a key policy framework.
“The question now is how to translate that spirit into practice in each agency, locality and enterprise, so that science and technology truly become drivers of growth,” he said.
He also stressed the need for stronger links between policymakers, regulators, experts, universities, research institutes and businesses, saying practical platforms were essential to help companies reduce risks, build capacity and measure ESG performance.
According to the organising board, the two ESG Vietnam forums held so far have laid a foundation for enterprises to gradually shape ESG strategies suited to their operations.

The 2026 forum will focus on capturing opportunities from early action while promoting long-term sustainable development. Organisers said they will also refine criteria to recognise companies with innovative, practical ESG approaches that generate lasting value.
Pham Tuan Anh said he expects Vietnamese businesses to play a more proactive role in ESG implementation, turning commitments into measurable outcomes that support sustainable development and economic growth.
