According to the deputy minister, the forum serves as an important platform for dialogue to address three key issues.

First, it aims to reaffirm the decisive role of science and technology in the country’s sustainable development, while proposing solutions to remove institutional bottlenecks so that institutions can become a competitive advantage, creating space for innovation and breakthroughs.

Second, the forum seeks to clarify the role of science and technology in ESG implementation at the enterprise level, from data governance and information transparency to improving management efficiency, risk management and fulfilment of social and environmental responsibilities.

Third, it focuses on proposing solutions to strongly promote science, technology, innovation and digital transformation within businesses, while accurately assessing the current state of ESG adoption, identifying advantages, difficulties and challenges, and outlining new requirements for enterprises during the process of transition and deeper international integration.

Concluding her remarks, deputy minister Ha expressed confidence that ESG Vietnam Forum 2025 would be a success, driven by the responsibility, dedication and expertise of participating delegates.
