On November 8, the tourists were travelling from Khanh Hoa Province to Danang when they forgot a laptop and a bag containing a passport, mobile phone, necklace and about VND 50 million, approximately USD 1.9 million, in cash.

They realised the loss at about 2.30 pm the same day and sought help from local police, who traced the items and returned them in full.
The tourists thanked the officers for their prompt assistance.
In September, a Thai tourist was reunited with belongings left on a train between Dong Ha and Hue stations, including foreign currency worth nearly VND 30 million, approximately USD 1.1 million, an iPad, camera, phone, handbag and other items.
