In the first phase, the city will install new decorative lighting for the Nguyen Van Troi Bridge and Tien Son Bridge, while upgrading the artistic lighting systems for the Thuan Phuoc, Han River, Dragon, and Tran Thi Ly bridges.
The city will also equip Thuan Phuoc, Han River, Dragon and Tran Thi Ly bridges with four skyward laser beams.

Eight more laser lights will be installed to cast beams onto the water at these bridges, enriching the illumination effects and making the Han River even more striking.
In the second phase, the city plans to install artistic lighting along the embankments and railings from the Tran Thi Ly Bridge to the Thuan Phuoc Bridge. The project will also include installing railings in sections where they are missing and renovating damaged stretches within the project’s scope.
The city has also encouraged high-rise buildings along the Han River to install lights that reflect onto the water, creating visual highlights.
The project is scheduled for completion by 2027.
