According to Ta Hoang Linh, Director of the Department of Foreign Market Development under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Vietnam International Sourcing and Export Forum, co-organised with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee authorities since 2023, has delivered significant results in expanding export markets for Vietnamese businesses.
With the participation of over 60 trade offices and branches worldwide, Vietnam International Sourcing 2025 will host more than 450 buying delegations seeking suppliers in Vietnam.
The exhibition will feature over 12,000 products across four primary categories, displayed at 500 booths operated by more than 400 Vietnamese enterprises. The showcased goods range from agricultural produce, beverages, and processed foods to consumer and industrial products, including textiles, footwear, furniture, interior décor, packaging, and supporting industries.
In addition to delegations from markets such as the United States, the European Union, Japan, and South Korea, VIS 2025 is expected to welcome strong participation from the Middle East, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
Organisers said this geographic diversity will help Vietnamese businesses tap into 17 free trade agreements, gain access to new markets, reduce dependence on a few regions and broaden their long-term export strategies.
