South Korean tourist recovers lost bag in Danang

A South Korean tourist has been reunited with his lost bag while visiting the central city of Danang.

This morning, September 1, the Danang police reported that An Hai Ward officers had returned a bag to the tourist, Soon Chul Kwon.

Earlier, while walking and swimming at Pham Van Dong Beach, Le Van Tuyen, 42, and Mai Van Tinh, 44, both from Thanh Hoa Province, discovered an unattended bag containing VND 31 million (approximately USD 1,210) and USD 104.

Tuyen and Tinh urgently handed the bag over to the An Hai Ward police.

Local authorities then quickly verified that the bag belonged to Soon Chul Kwon and promptly contacted him to return the lost property.

The South Korean tourist expressed his gratitude upon receiving the lost bag, calling it an unforgettable memory of the kindness and hospitality of Danang's people.

Leaders of An Hai Ward police praised Tuyen and Tinh for their exemplary act, highlighting how it spread positive values within the community and left a good impression on tourists.
