Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines are selling economy tickets from August 30 to September 3 starting at VND 2.2 million (approximately USD 83.5) one way on the Hanoi–HCM City route.
Most fares range from VND 2.2 million to VND 2.8 million, lower than the VND 2.7–3.7 million range in early August. Vietjet, Bamboo Airways and Vietravel Airlines are offering similar prices.
According to carriers, the increase in flights has helped bring ticket prices down. Vietnam Airlines alone is providing about 418,000 domestic seats, up 30 per cent from last year.
Key routes include Hanoi–HCM City, Hanoi–Danang, and flights to Cam Ranh, Dalat and Hue. Vietjet is also adding nearly 10,000 seats, equal to 50 flights, during the four-day holiday.
