Ca Mau authorities have pledged immediate support of VND 5 million for families with collapsed homes and VND 3 million for those with roof damage. They are also working on plans to assist residents in repairing or rebuilding their homes, enabling them to quickly return to their everyday lives.

The Ca Mau Meteorological Station forecasts rain and thunderstorms, with rainfall of 10-30 mm, and some areas may experience rainfall exceeding 30 mm. Tornadoes, strong winds, and lightning may accompany the storms; therefore, residents are urged to stay alert and take necessary precautions.

The tornado also brought down several roadside trees, but fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Right after the tornado hit, leaders of the Ninh Thanh Loi Commune People’s Committee arrived on the scene, mobilising local forces, including police, militia, and youth volunteers, to assist residents in dealing with the aftermath.
