Under the plan, the Dalat central area will be divided into six distinct functional zones.

Zone A1, covering 180 hectares, includes iconic sites such as Xuan Huong Lake, Doi Cu Hill, Dalat Flower Garden, Tran Quoc Toan Park, Lam Vien Square, and Light Park, which will serve as the central area for green space, tourism services, culture, and festivals.

Zone A2, spanning 63 hectares comprising the Hoa Binh area, Dalat Market, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, and Phan Nhu Thach Street, is planned as a centre for tourism and commercial services.

Zones A3 (38 hectares), A4 (over 274 hectares), A5 (over 141 hectares), and A6 (nearly 67 hectares), located in the wards of Xuan Huong, Cam Ly, and Langbiang, are designated for residential areas, administrative centres, modern urban development, as well as cultural and sports centres.

The plan aims to preserve and promote Dalat’s natural landscape and distinctive architecture while developing modern, synchronised infrastructure to support future socio-economic growth.
