A witness said he saw the passenger at Tan Son Nhat International Airport's Terminal 3 on the afternoon of June 29. Although he didn't approach or speak to her, he took a photo as her outfit struck him as unusual.
In the photo, the passenger wears sunglasses and a baseball cap. Though appearing to have a masculine build, the individual was dressed in what looked like a one-piece women's swimsuit, attracting attention for the unusual outfit.

The image quickly circulated online, causing debate. Some argued that clothing is a matter of personal freedom and should not be restricted, while others felt the outfit was inappropriate for a public setting.
According to a representative from the Southern Airports Authority, this was a new issue.
The Southern Airports Authority noted that under current aviation regulations and airport or airline policies, there is no legal basis to deny service or impose penalties on the passenger. Existing rules primarily apply to cases involving disruptive behaviour, forged documents, and similar violations.
However, the Southern Airports Authority representative remarked that the passenger's choice of attire was inappropriate for an airport setting.
"We believe this matter should be addressed in official airport regulations, with clear guidelines on appropriate attire for entering the terminal. Incidents involving inappropriate or offensive clothing like this shouldn't be left unchecked," a Southern Airports Authority representative noted.
