Organised by the Haiphong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the tour aims to honour the cultural and historical value of Hang Kenh Communal House by merging folk art, traditional rituals and digital innovation.

The programme includes water puppet shows on the communal house pond, a 3D mapping projection reenacting the historic victory at Bach Dang in 938, and an incense offering ceremony.

The highlight of the night tour is a five-chapter 3D mapping show projected onto the architecture, featuring scenes from Duong Lam Village, military training, tidal studies, and the dramatic Battle of Bach Dang. The performance seamlessly integrates moving visuals, sound, and lighting effects to create an immersive experience.

Tran Thi Hoang Mai, Director of the city’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the tour was an experimental step in heritage tourism development using technology aimed at promoting cultural industry and sustainable tourism.

Hang Kenh Communal House, built over 300 years ago, is dedicated to Ngo Quyen, the Vietnamese general who defeated the Southern Han invaders in 938, marking the start of a long era of national independence. The site was designated a national historical site in 1962.

The tour will be held regularly on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.
