
According to the Thai Nguyen Hydro-Meteorological Station, as of the morning of June 21, several areas recorded extremely high rainfall levels, including Tan Thai (over 206mm), Binh Son (202mm), and Cu Van (196mm).

Numerous streets were submerged under 20 to 40 cm of water, with some locations experiencing flood depths of up to 50 to 100 cm.

Emergency response teams were deployed overnight on June 20 to assist residents in low-lying areas.

Rainfall is expected to continue in Thai Nguyen until around noon today.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms are forecast to continue across the northern mountainous and midland regions on June 21 and 22, with widespread rainfall ranging from 50 to 120mm and some areas expected to receive over 250mm
