The K-pop idol appeared at around 10 pm, ahead of his scheduled performance at the K-Star Spark In Vietnam - Mega Concert 2025, set to take place at My Dinh National Stadium on June 21.

Fans brought lightsticks, banners, and wore outfits featuring the iconic daisy with a missing petal, the emblem of Peaceminusone, G-Dragon’s fashion brand. The airport arrivals area lit up like a daisy garden as supporters eagerly awaited their idol.

Among the crowd were fans who have followed the artist for nearly a decade. “I’ve waited more than eight years to see G-Dragon return to Vietnam. Even if I can’t meet him in person today, I just want to be here and feel the excitement,” said Thu Trang, 20, from Hanoi.

Many had travelled from distant provinces to Hanoi, braving the summer heat and hours of waiting just for a glimpse of the pop icon after his long absence from the Vietnamese stage.

Hong Hanh, a fan from Ho Chi Minh City, flew to Hanoi early in the morning wearing a striking red dress adorned with roses that she had carefully chosen herself.
To express her admiration for G-Dragon, whom she has supported for more than 10 years, Hanh also hand-decorated a tiara with over 1,000 rhinestones.

Security personnel reinforced barriers to ensure safety for both fans and other passengers at Noi Bai Airport.

After landing, G-Dragon quickly exited the airport and was escorted to his next destination in Hanoi without stopping for interaction with fans.

The K-Star Spark In Vietnam - Mega Concert 2025, where G-Dragon will perform, will take place on the evening of June 21 at My Dinh Stadium. The event will also feature major acts such as CL, Tempest, tripleS, and DPR IAN, and is expected to draw a crowd of around 40,000.
