Y Nhi named among Top 8 finalists in Miss World’s Beauty With A Purpose segment with charity project ‘Heart to Head’
The recognition comes for her charity initiative titled Heart to Head, which supports underprivileged children in remote areas by repairing schools and donating thousands of books to help nurture their dreams.
The project began in Nam Tra My district of central Quang Nam province, where Y Nhi delivered books to two primary schools. To date, it has expanded to 12 provinces and cities across the country.
Y Nhi and Indonesia’s Monica Kezia Sembiring are the two Asia-Pacific representatives in the Top 8 of this year’s Beauty With A Purpose competition.
The 23-year-old beauty queen hails from the south-central province of Binh Dinh and was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2023. She is currently representing Vietnam at the 72nd Miss World pageant, which features 40 contestants from around the globe. The grand final is set to take place on May 31 in India.
