The project includes Tu Lien Bridge and its connecting roads, linking Nghi Tam and Truong Sa streets.

The project is expected to help ease traffic pressure on Chuong Duong, Long Bien, Thang Long, and Vinh Tuy bridges. It also plays a vital role in realising Hanoi’s master plans for urban development and transportation, and shaping a modern urban landscape along both banks of the Red River.
At the event, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that Tu Lien Bridge will help improve traffic in Hanoi and connect Noi Bai International Airport and Gia Binh Airport.

The design plan for Tu Lien Bridge
The government leaders urged the project management unit and contractors to ensure the completion of the project in 2027.
He hoped the bridge would become an iconic architectural landmark that would enhance Hanoi’s landscape.
Tu Lien Bridge is designed as a cable-stayed structure with two cable planes, long main spans, and tall tower pylons. It will span over five kilometres, linking Nghi Tam Street and ending at its junction with Truong Sa Street.
