Hoang Dieu Port, located along the Cam River, is relocating to the Lach Huyen Port area and is slated for completion this year. Once finished, Haiphong will auction the site for a new development that accommodates a 4.55-hectare golf course, a 2.74-hectare commercial housing area, and service-commercial facilities spanning roughly 6.7 hectares.

The remaining land will be used for transport infrastructure and green space, linking the Tam Bac River embankment in Hong Bang District and Ngo Quyen Street.

Haiphong also plans to auction off some other prime land lots in Ngo Quyen District in 2025.

The auction of key central land plots is expected to boost urban infrastructure and attract major investors to the city.

The city has recently inaugurated Container Terminals 3 and 4 at Lach Huyen Port, marking a strategic step in developing an international gateway port system in northern Vietnam.
