Fuel prices increase after consecutive falls

Petroleum prices have increased by VND490-780 VND per litre from 3 pm on April 24, following an adjustment by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

E5 RON 92 has risen to VND19,230 (USD0.77) per litre, and RON 95 is at VND19,630 per litre, up by VND740 per litre and VND780 per litre, respectively.

Diesel and kerosene prices were raised by VND490 per litre and VND530 per litre to VND17,520 per litre and VND17,710 per litre, respectively. Meanwhile, mazut rose by VND560 to VND16,520 per kilogramme.

The two ministries opted not to use the Petrol Price Stabilisation Fund for this adjustment.

RON 95 prices in Vietnam have rebounded after two consecutive falls. So far this year, RON 95 petrol has increased nine times and reduced eight times.
