The results were announced on the night of April 9 during the World Airport Awards ceremony in Spain. This year, Noi Bai International Airport and Danang International Airport represented Vietnam.
Skytrax's rankings are based on millions of passenger surveys from over 100 countries. The surveys evaluate a wide range of criteria, including terminal facilities, comfort, ease of transit, staff service, language accessibility, and overall airport experience.
This marks the seventh time Noi Bai has been named in Skytrax's global airport rankings.
In 2024, Noi Bai ensured absolute safety and security for over 30 million passengers. The airport has also seen a strong surge in international arrivals in the first quarter of 2025, thanks to the launch of several new international routes connecting Hanoi with key destinations worldwide.
Danang International Airport made significant strides this year, reaching 10 places to claim the 84th spot in the global rankings. This is the second consecutive year Danang has been recognised among the world's top 100 airports.
Additionally, Danang's Terminal 2 has retained its 5-star rating under Skytrax standards for the second year in a row, a notable achievement. Only 19 airports and five terminals globally have attained 5-star certification in 2025. Danang remains the only Vietnamese airport in this elite group.
