Resort employee fined for burying rubbish on Mui Ne beach

A male employee at a tourist resort in the south-central province of Binh Thuan has been fined after being found burying rubbish on a beach in Mui Ne Ward.

The illegal disposal of rubbish by the 34-year-old man was caught on camera by a foreign tourist and posted online, stirring strong public backlash.

The video indicated that the man wearing what appeared to be a resort staff uniform was seen digging a hole on the beach to bury directly instead of collecting it for proper treatment.
