Attendants for the special trains which is being launched to mark National Reunification Day on April 30.
According to VNR, these two trains have been specially designed to reflect the historical significance of this milestone event.
Specifically, on the evening of April 29, train SE1 will depart from Hanoi Station, while train SE4 will set off from Saigon Station. The two trains are scheduled to meet at 12 noon on April 30 at Danang Station.
During the departure ceremonies on the evening of April 29, VNR will offer surprise gifts to passengers onboard both trains. These are not merely ordinary train journeys, but meaningful rides through history – an opportunity for passengers to reflect on and appreciate the value of the peace we enjoy today.
To mark this occasion, VNR is offering a 40 percent discount on ticket prices for people who rendered service to the revolution, including war invalids, veterans, and family members of those recognised for their contributions.
VNR will also be increasing the number of trains on major routes such as Hanoi–Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang–Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang–Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi–Hai Phong, and Hanoi–Da Nang to meet travel demand during the holiday period.
