Many people queu to buy fruit tarts in HCM City
At 7 pm, Anh Tuan arrived at the shop and patiently stood in a queue stretching several dozen metres. “I saw many positive reviews about this place on TikTok, so I decided to come and try it,” he shared.
By 8 pm, as the shop officially opened, the atmosphere became lively. Customers placed their orders, filmed reviews, and staff quickly packed the tarts into boxes.
Each fruit tart costs VND12,000 and features a cheese cream filling topped with fresh fruits like strawberries, mangoes, grapes, cherries, and melons, among others.
After waiting for over an hour, Tuan finally got his box of fruit tarts. “Even before tasting, the aroma is inviting, and they look very appealing. At just VND12,000 per piece, it's worth the experience,” he said.

Thuy Ngan, from District 7, bought eight tarts with different flavors. “They’re small, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. The wait was long, but the staff worked efficiently, so customers weren’t left frustrated,” she noted.
Selling 1,000 tarts per night
Nguyen Huu Phuc, the shop owner, originally sold choux pastries, sponge cakes, and various tart flavors like sweet corn and chocolate. However, after a video featuring the fruit tarts went viral on TikTok, he decided to focus solely on this item.

The shop owner, Nguyen Huu Phuc
“At first, we opened from 6 pm to 11 pm, but due to overwhelming demand, we adjusted to 8 pm to avoid disturbing the neighborhood. Sales skyrocketed from 100 tarts per night to 1,000 per night in the past week,” Phuc shared.
To keep up with demand, the shop expanded its team to over 10 employees, working non-stop to serve customers.
Explaining the sudden popularity, Phuc said, “Fruit tarts are not a new concept, but combining rich cheese cream with fresh fruits creates a unique taste. Plus, people love trying new things.”
Kim Thanh, 22, tried the tarts for the first time and found them enjoyable. “The cheese cream is lightly rich, and the fresh fruit balances the flavor. But I can only eat two or three at a time, any more might feel too heavy,” she commented.
“Food trends constantly change, so when fruit tarts are no longer a hit, we’ll introduce new items to keep customers engaged,” Phuc added.
