According to authorities in the northern province of Quang Ninh, the event will take place at Sun Carnival Square and Vo Nguyen Giap Street in Bai Chay Ward, bringing visitors a grand parade, a masquerade ball, DJ performances, and a spectacular high-altitude fireworks display.

The 90-minute festival will be broadcast live on the Quang Ninh Media Centre channels and simulcast on television stations in several other localities.
Various exciting activities, such as flash mob performances, costume experience booths, body painting, and personalised mask-making, will also be included on the festival's sidelines.
The Ha Long Carnival is Quang Ninh's annual cultural and tourism event. It promotes local culture and provides a unique summer tourism experience.
This year, Quang Ninh aims to attract 20 million tourists, including 4.5 million international visitors, generating a total revenue of VND55 trillion (USD2.15 billion).
