He also acknowledged the local government for facilitating the initiative, emphasising that the nationwide project to build 100 homes for underprivileged families from 2024 to 2025 is nearing completion, with 95 homes already under construction. This week, five more houses will begin construction in Cao Bang Province, fulfilling the initial plan.

So far, 73 houses have been completed and handed over. The newspaper is committed to finishing the remaining 27 homes soon, ensuring more disadvantaged families can move into sturdy, secure houses.

Expanding the housing project

Although the initial target has been met, Dantri is determined to continue this effort. The new goal is to build an additional 100 homes in 2025, marking significant national milestones and celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Dantri online newspaper.

"As the official publication of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Dantri focuses on journalism and prioritises social responsibility. Through this initiative, we aim to extend the generosity of our readers and benefactors to disadvantaged families, easing their hardships," Pham Tuan Anh emphasised.

At the ceremony, Chu Van Hoi, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Quang Kim Commune People's Council, expressed his deep appreciation.
