The project area around the Marble Mountains is overgrown with wild grass. Many trees have been left unattended, leading to stunted growth, while others have withered and died.
A Marble Mountains Tourist Site Management Board representative stated that the project was outside its authority. However, the board has repeatedly urged local authorities to take action and maintain a clean, green environment for visitors.
The project has been delayed due to site clearance-related difficulties.
Some areas in the project have become dumping sites.
According to Nguyen Hoa, Chairman of the Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee, the district is taking steps to implement the project as approved. Site clearance is set to start this year.
