According to the HCM City Department of Transport, the line operated 220 trips from 5 am to 11 pm, with an 8-minute interval between each trip, running one hour later than usual.

On New Year's Day, January 1, 2025, besides the 200 regular trips from 5 am to 10 pm., the metro line will operate 14 more trips between 12.30 am and 2 am the following morning to serve passengers returning home after watching the New Year's Eve fireworks display.
Specifically, the first extra trip will depart from Ben Thanh Station in District 1 to Suoi Tien Station in Thu Duc City at 12.30 am, with the last trip at 2 am and an 8-minute gap between trains.
In the first eight days of operation, Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro welcomed more than 900,000 passengers, with a peak of 201,000 passengers on December 29.
The service is free for the first 30 days. Starting January 21, 2025, passengers will pay fares ranging from VND6,000 to VND20,000, depending on the distance.
