Exemptions will be offered to certain groups, including children below six, people with severe disabilities, special guests approved by the Chairman of Sa Pa Town People's Committee, and students participating in extracurricular visits.

According to Sa Pa authorities, the admission fees are intended to boost the local budget and contribute to the preservation and restoration of the sites.

Sa Pa Town will establish three toll stations equipped with surveillance cameras and four barriers to collect the fees.

This year, Mount Fansipan attracted over 1.1 million tourists, generating revenue of VND690 billion (approximately USD27 million).
