Police in HCM City announced on November 15 that they were seeking a motorbike driver who crashed into two foreign tourists on Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street.

According to a report from the municipal police department, the accident occurred at 11.11 pm on October 20 when the man drove his motorbike and crashed into two female tourists who were walking across the junction of Nguyen Hue and Ton That Thiep streets.

The crash left the two tourists and the motorbike driver on the street. The man quickly stood up and drove his motorbike away. Meanwhile, the two women were injured and had to be sent to the Cho Ray Hospital for treatment.
The two tourists from Indonesia were identified as Karlina Oktiwi, 27, and Astri Yanti Gusman, 32.

Police have taken and published images of the motorbike driver from security cameras in the area and are calling for support from local people to search for him.
