At around 1:30 pm on Friday, a group of six 9th-grade students went to Song Muc Lake at Ben En National Park in Nhu Xuan District to row a boat for fun. Unfortunately, the boat capsized, leaving two of them missing.

Upon being informed of the incident, local authorities immediately dispatched a rescue team to the scene to search for the victims. By 5 pm on the same day, both were found dead in the lake.
The two 14-year-old students were both from Mai Thang Village in Nhu Xuan District.
