
The new houses will be presented to ten low-income families in Moc Hoa and Tan Thanh districts.
At the ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Hai, Deputy Secretary of the Long An Provincial Party Committee, expressed happiness that poor people in his area had received support from kind donors.

"Moc Hoa and Tan Thanh are two agricultural districts where people's lives are still very difficult due to their modest incomes," the official said. "These new houses are valuable support for them."
Speaking at the event, Dantri editor-in-chief Pham Tuan Anh, said that the construction of housing is part of their campaign to build 100 houses between now and next year.

"Following a call from PM Pham Minh Chinh to help replace all deteriorating houses for low-income people nationwide between 2024-2025, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, Dao Ngoc Dung has also asked us to gather support from organisations and individuals to build 100 new houses for disadvantaged people nationwide by the end of 2025," Anh said. "We hope that the new houses will help improve the lives of benefited people in Long An."
Anh also thanked donors and local authorities for joining the campaign to build new homes for disadvantaged people.
Besides receiving money to help build new houses, ten families benefited from the donation of ten fridges.

Nguyen Van Don, 60, who was among ten families receiving support, was moved to tears when he received VND90 million from Dantri and the donors to build his new house.

"I don't know what to say, but thank you so much to Dantri and all the kind donors and local authorities for supporting my family in building our new house," he said. "I've dreamt of a new house for a very long time, and it has come true with your help."
