The incident happened around 2.40 pm Thursday afternoon at the Fococev Quang Nam Joint Stock Company in Que Son District.

At that time, three workers were pulling a tarp over the tank to protect it from rain when, unluckily, a 45-year-old female worker slipped into the plant's biogas tank. A 60-year-old male worker quickly jumped in to save her while the other ran off to call for help.
However, when people came to the scene, both of them had already died in the biogas tank. The two victims are from Que Son District.
Local authorities instructed concerned agencies to visit and offer the victims' families condolences.
