During this time, Tan Son Nhat International Airport will accommodate some 700 flights per day, up 5 percent compared to regular days. On August 30 and September 3, the number of passengers would reach 125,000 per day.
A representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport said that members of the Youth Union from the airport and the Vietnam Aviation Academy will assist passengers at the domestic terminal during peak hours from 5-9 am.
The passenger number through Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi this occasion has been forecasted to climb to nearly 340,000, up 11 percent against regular days.
Meanwhile, Saigon Station is expected to welcome 5,300 passengers per day during the four-day holiday, up 22 percent compared to normal days.
