According to the Binh Thuan Board for Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue, Ham Thuan Nam District has been hardest hit by rain over the past two days. Around 230 houses in Ham My Commune have been submerged with residents from 48 houses relocated.

Some areas in Ham My have been put a metre under water.

In Ham Kiem Commune, one motorbike was swept away by the flood water.

Roughly 420 hectares of dragon fruit and crops in Ham My and Ham Cuong communes have been inundated.

Local authorities have not yet provided statistics on the loss.
