Following heavy rains over the past few days, rising flood waters on the Tich Giang River have isolated Ben Voi Village.

Lying in a low area by the river, the village often faces flooding during the rainy season.

Since July 25, all the roads leading to the village have been deeply submerged.

People have had to use boats and lifejackets when travelling on many roads.

On July 26, many houses saw water rising to their rooftops.

Boats and lifebuoys have been used for travelling on local roads.

People swim in the yard of the Can Ha Pagoda.

The main road to the village has also attracted many people to come for swimming and fishing activities.

The floods have also affected some surrounding areas along the Tich and the Bui rivers in Quoc Oai.
