Police in Lien Chieu District reported that the accident occurred at around 1 am on July 23 when three girls aged 16-17 were riding on a motorbike near the Hoa Khanh Industrial Zone.
"The motorbike was running at a high speed when it crashed into a tree on the roadside," the police said. "The three girls fell off the motorbike, and two died on the spot while the other died shortly after while on the way to a local hospital.
Police are further investigating the accident.
