The VND1.94 trillion (USD76.22 million) bridge links Thuy Nguyen District in Haiphong with Quang Yen Town in Quang Ninh.

Of the total investment, VND1.1 trillion is from the central budget, VND835 billion from Haiphong, and VND5.5 billion from Quang Ninh.
The bridge across Da Bach River is 1,865 metres long and has four major lanes.
The project is expected to help regional connectivity, meet rising travel demand, and contribute to regional socioeconomic growth.
Meanwhile, construction of Lai Xuan Bridge across the Da Bach River to connect Haiphong’s Thuy Nguyen District with Quang Ninh’s Dong Trieu Town is underway. The project has a total investment of VND1.33 trillion (USD52.25 million).
