Speaking at the event, Dantri's Editor-in-Chief, Pham Tuan Anh, stressed that the launch of the ESG Vietnam Forum marked an important milestone in Vietnam's sustainable development, showing a strong commitment of local enterprises and investors to building a green, safe, and prosperous future for future generations.

"ESG, or Environmental, Social, and Governance, has now become a goal for business activities globally," Anh said. "Enterprises that follow ESG benefit society and the environment and raise their reputation and business efficiency. The ESG Vietnam 2024 Forum will help local businesses share experiences and discuss solutions for current challenges."
Anh shared that following the debut of the ESG Vietnam 2024 Forum, Dantri will organise various related activities, including a seminar and workshop on ESG and an honouring of businesses with sustainable development.
"We hope that the forum will connect enterprises, investors, non-profit organisations and other partners to help build a green, safe, and prosperous future for Vietnam," he noted.
Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha attended the event and expressed that it was a valuable chance for participants to discuss and propose solutions for sustainable development in various fields, including labour, invalids, and social affairs.

"We've been trying to apply ESG in our labour, invalids and social affairs over the past few years," Ha said. "ESG has helped bring sustainable development, which can create more jobs and enhance people's lives. We'll continue to co-operate with concerned agencies and organisations to achieve the country's goal in sustainable development."
From this year, Dantri will hold the ESG Vietnam Forum annually, with the participation of government officials and experts from within and outside Vietnam in various fields. This forum is expected to enhance people's awareness of sustainable development.
