5,000 runners will take part in"Run for the Heart" charity event
The event is due to attract the participation of about 5,000 runners and aims to raise funds for children suffering from congenital heart defects.
The race offers options for families and children with a three km Fun Run and a 10 km Pro Run for competitive athletes.
The highlight of the event this year will be interesting music performances which will be set up at each stop.
During the last nine runs, the charity programme has raised over VND40 billion, thereby providing life-saving surgeries for 1,549 children.
Run For The Heart 2024 is expected to raise more than VND5.5 billion.
