The Bauhinia flower originates from Southeast Asia. It is commonly grown in Northwestern localities in Vietnam.
The Bauhinia flower was planted in Dat Lat in 2007. To date, Bauhinia trees in the city are around 12 metres high.
Spring is the Bauhinia flower season which ends in late April. But the best time to see the flowers is between February and March.
