Hanoi, HCM City busier on Women’s Day

Many streets in central Hanoi and HCM City were busier due to the streets being full of flower stalls on the International Women’s Day today, March 8.

Many flower stalls were open on Nguyen Van Cu Street which runs through districts 1 and 5. There are many universities along the street.

Main streets, including Nguyen Van Cu, Tran Binh Trong and Nguyen Trai were brightened by flower shops.

 

Flower prices remained unchanged compared to last year. Roses were sold at VND10,000-30,000 a flower. Wax flowers priced from VND100,000 to VND500,000 each attracted customers.

Cute animal figures such as pigs, dogs and cats made from wool also sold well.

Flower shops in Hanoi also lured many customers during the day.
