Nha Trang welcomes consecutive cruise ships after Tet

Nha Trang City in the southern central province of Nha Trang has received three consecutive cruise ships since the Tet Lunar New Year holiday.

On February 16, the Seven Seas Explorer arrived at Nha Trang Port, with 750 tourists on board able to visit the Ponagar Temple, Truong Son Handicraft Village and Dam Market between 8 am to 4 pm.

On Thursday, the Celebrity Solstice from Malta brought 400 tourists to Nha Trang. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Diamond Princess cruise ship transporting 2,800 visitors also arrived in Nha Trang.

So far this year, Khanh Hoa has received 10 international cruise ships with a total number of 20,750 tourists.

According to the provincial Department of Tourism, the province is expected to serve 44 international cruise ships in 2024.

During the seven-day Tet holiday, Khanh Hoa received 631,488 tourists, up 146 percent on-year.
