HCM City is facing hot weather with the highest temperature of 35-36 degrees centigrade.
According to the Southern Regional Hydrometeorological Centre, on Thursday, HCM City saw widespread hot weather. Tan Son Nhat International Airport recorded 36 degrees centigrade heat.
The hot weather would further expand in HCM City and end on February 18.
The city’s demand for electricity has increased due to the heatwave.
The hot spell is also affecting many localities in the southern region. On February 14, Bien Hoa City in Dong Nai Province had the highest temperature of 38 degrees centigrade.
