The police have detained a Russian national suspected of murdering another Russian in Binh Thuan province, southern Vietnam.
The victim is a man who was found dead on February 1 near a rice field in Thien Son village (Thien Nghiep commune – Phan Thiet city– Binh Thuan province).
Hearing about the news, the police of Phan Thiet city were dispatched to the scene to investigate the case.
The victim was a 44-year-old Russian national, whose body was wrapped in a blanket. His head also had a huge wound.
A notice was issued, asking people who know or have information related to the Russian victim to report to the police.
The police later arrested a Russian national suspected of killing his compatriot. The suspect confessed that the two men had had a quarrel while looking for a room to rent, leading to the murder.
Further investigations are underway.
