Pass to Da Lat willing to be open to traffic

Prenn Pass, the gateway to Da Lat City in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong, has been scheduled to be fully open before the Tet Lunar New Year.

The pass is 7.40 kilometres long, with a three-kilometre section running from Da Lat City to Datanla Waterfall which opened on December 12. The remaining section linking Prenn Bridge to Da Lat City has been completed and is ready.

 

Part of Prenn Pass has been put into use on December 12.

Once put into operation, vehicles will be able to travel at 60 km per hour on the pass.

Work on the project was started in February last year with a total investment of VND553 billion (USD22.48 million).

Prenn Pass connects Da Lat with the province’s Lien Khuong International Airport and the Dau Giay-Lien Khuong Expressway connecting the southeastern province of Dong Nai with Lam Dong.
