Tan Son Nhat International Airport has become more crowded as Tet is nearing.

This year, many people have been using flight tracking applications such as Flightradar24 and FlightAware so they have not come to the airport as early as previously.

A passenger returning from Japan to Vietnam said that his flight landed at 2 pm on Thursday but it took an hour before he could exit because of the crowds.

On January 24, Tan Son Nhat International Airport served 137 international flights with a total of 21,905 passengers.

At the peak time around Tet, from January 26 to February 24, the airport will welcome 860-900 flights per day operated by 53 airlines.
