Ngai Thau Nursery and Primary School in Bat Xat District is located at an altitude of nearly 2,000 metres above sea level.

The school hosts 111 students, including 36 primary students. Teachers at the school have applied different measures to keep warm.

Vu Thu Huyen, a nursery teacher who has been working at the school for four years, said that many students often come to school late on cold days, particularly those who are far from the school.

Many thick blankets, warm clothes and heaters have been prepared for children.

According to Teacher Dao Thi Quynh Nhu, for poor students, the school will support them with warm clothes.

All outdoor activities have been suspended to ensure the safety of the children.

While the students are asleep, teachers are busy boiling water and preparing steaming bowls of milk for them before the afternoon classes begin.
