The incident happened on Wednesday in Krong Bong District’s Cu Pui Commune.
According to a representative from Cu Pui Commune, at around 11 am on Wednesday, a group of 10 residents came to a forest to pick mushrooms. They then faced rains with strong winds, forcing them to shelter under a big tree. Unluckily, the tree abruptly fell, leaving three dead and one injured.
One 46-year-old man and two women, one aged 29 and the other aged 19 died. Two were from the same family.
Meanwhile, the injured was a 45-year-old woman.
