
The newspaper will operate under the management of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.
Pham Tuan Anh, Editor-in-chief of the Dantri Online Newspaper was appointed Editor-in-chief of the newly-established Dantri Newspaper. His three deputies included Nguyen Xuan Toan, Nguyen Thu Hang, and Nguyen Thuy Hang.
Speaking at the event, minister Dao Ngoc Dung stressed that this was a very important event for the ministry and the local media.
"This is a turning point which marks the re-organisation for stronger development and better, more effective operation of the ministry," he said. "We've gone through many discussions over the past two years before reaching this decision, intending to develop Dantri into a modern and professional media agency."

The minister also noted that the newly established newspaper would focus on promoting and supporting people's lives, intellect, and kindness, contributing to the ministry's mission of taking care of people's lives and social affairs.
"I hope the newspaper will spread strong and positive messages for society's development," he said.
Attending the event, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Thanh Lam said that this was an important event for the local media.

"I believe that Dantri Newspaper will do their new tasks well, becoming the voice of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, and supporting the disadvantaged and vulnerable groups of people in the society," Lam said.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Editor-in-chief of Dantri, Pham Tuan Anh, expressed his thanks to leaders of the concerned ministries and agencies for their close direction and support for establishing the newspaper.

"This is a historic event in the development of the newspaper," Anh said. "We are delighted and proud of our past journey. And although there will be many challenges facing us ahead, we'll do our best and hope for a better future."
