Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte cycled on streets in Hanoi on November 2.
After finishing talks on Thursday morning, the two officials chose the newly-launched public bike service and cycled Phan Dinh Phung, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Dien Bien Phu, and Ton That Dam streets in the capital.
The two officials were accompanied by their assistants, interpreters, and security guards who also cycled.

The two PMs waved to greet people on the streets.
After a 10-minute ride to enjoy Hanoi’s scenery during the most beautiful time of the year, the two officials stopped at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to continue their work.
The Dutch PM is on a two-day visit to Vietnam. The visit, which is taking place as the countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations, is the third by the Dutch PM to Vietnam since he took office in 2010, following PM Chinh’s visit to the Netherlands nine months ago.
PM Rutte’s visit aims to seek specific measures to realise the outcomes of PM Chinh’s visit earlier this year, while promoting bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, finance, science and technology, management science, human resources training, tourism, agriculture, logistics, green transition, and digital transformation.
Vietnam and the Netherlands will continue to discuss ways to effectively implement the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement, and further promote the development of the EU - ASEAN strategic partnership for peace, stability, and development.
