Many buses are suspended in Dak Lak province.
The company said that they would halt the two bus routes connecting Buon Ma Thuot City in Dak Lak and Krong No District in Dak Nong; and Buon Ma Thuot City and Lak District in Dak Lak begining December 1 this year.
"We've faced great losses on these routes since the Covid-19 pandemic," the company explained. "We've tried a lot to maintain operation but the situation has not improved."
The Dak Lak Automobile Transportation Company runs 90 buses on some routes connecting Buon Ma Thuot City to some districts in Dak Lak Province and to Gia Nghia City and Krong No District in the neighbouring province of Dak Nong.
Since the beginning of this year, only one third of the company's buses have been operating and many drivers and staff members have left.
