The increase was made following rising petrol prices on the global market.
Following the latest adjustment, the price of E5RON92 biofuel increased by VND460 per litre to VND 22,370 per litre and RON95 by VND 470 to VND 23,510 per litre.
Diesel and kerosene prices also slightly increased by VND80 and VND 290 per litre to VND22,490 and VND22,750 per litre, respectively. Mazut prices rose by VND 370 per kilo to VND16,610 per kilo.
The increase was made after two consecutive sharp falls in domestic petrol prices.
The two ministries have decided not to top-up the price stabilisation fund this time.
Petrol prices saw seven increases between July 3-October 1 before two decreases were made on October 2 and October 11.
